Delta-based courier service Ape Ship is excited to announce that we are raising funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC’s (BGC) Over The Edge event.

Taking place on Thursday, September 23rd and Friday, September 24th, our brave mascot, Julius, will also be rappelling down the side of the Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Vancouver.

In addition to taking part in this event, Ape Ship is raising funds to continue to give children and youth a place to belong during the critical out-of-school hours, where with the help and guidance of highly trained staff and volunteers, they discover who they are, that they matter, what they are capable of, and that they have promising futures.

"I’m excited that the money we raise will provide counselling for vulnerable youth. Many of these children just want to be heard and the funds raised will make huge difference for children’s mental health" says Ben Martin, President and CEO of Evolution Group of Companies.

This event is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rappel down an iconic downtown Vancouver building and our team couldn’t be more excited to support such a great initiative.

"My four children have been fortunate that I have been able to afford to put them in activities and that I have been able to actively participate in their interests. Many children aren’t this fortunate, for a variety of reasons. The Boys and Girls club is a real difference maker in this area; for all kids" says Ben Martin.
