No, that wasn’t King Kong rappelling down a Vancouver building last week.
That was our friendly ape Julius!
Julius successfully went “over the edge” last week and rappelled down 36 floors in support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC.
The event took place on Tuesday, June 14th and Wednesday, June 15th at the Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Vancouver.
So far, BGC has raised over $100,000!
Funds raised through the event continue to give children and youth a place to belong during the critical out-of-school hours, where with the help and guidance of highly trained staff and volunteers, they discover who they are, that they matter, what they are capable of, and that they have promising futures.
Our fundraising campaign is still open and you can donate to it here.
